DPCC Community Notification

Incident Details: This is Diamond Petrochemical (DPCC) at 1265 Vidal St. This message is to inform you that we will be restarting our operating unit this morning after a brief third steam interruption. Neighbors may notice periods of increased flaring and noise for the next few hours which is a normal part of this process. Should action be required by the community, instructions will be issued by your municipality. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause for community members. Flares are important safety devices that safely burn excess hydrocarbon gases that cannot be recovered or recycled. Flare systems must meet strict environmental controls. When you see flaring, please be assured that flares play a key role in keeping our facility running safely. We strive to minimize flaring, keeping it to times necessary for our continued safe operation. There is no community action required at this time.. Thank you for your understanding.
