Kari Chervinsky, P.Eng., holds a degree in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from the University of Western Ontario. She began her career as a Process Engineer at the Suncor Energy Refinery in Sarnia and has built a 24‑year career encompassing a wide range of technical, operational, and leadership roles.
Her experience includes serving as Contact Engineer for the Crude and Vacuum Unit, Laboratory Manager, Shift Supervisor, Operational Excellence Coordinator, and Operations Program Group Manager. Most recently, she spent seven years as Operations Manager for the Offsites area, overseeing wastewater treatment, tankage, marine, rail, and trucking operations.
Kari is married to Stan, and together they have two children, Nathan and Kaley. As a family, they enjoy boating, curling, volleyball, and are enthusiastic roller‑coaster fans.
